Summer Crepe Spectacular Breakfast with the birds People book holidays around this special event that happens in June. The Beaverhill Bird Observatory welcomes Janos Kovacs to the banding laboratory for his special morning treats. Known for his knowledge of bird banding, this is the moment where Janos shows of his true talent. The smells of browning batter, fresh berries and of course chocolate is always enough to draw everyone out of bed for breakfast.The breakfast takse place during the hours of bird banding, so if anyone arrives late enough to miss the bird banding they likely missed out on the crepes as well. This event is a always a great opportunity to come out to the lab, meet the BBO staff and volunteers, and witness some bird banding in action.
